Backups are extremely important. It is always necessary to have the facility to recover from disasters or mistakes. Off-site backup is also paramount; if your data is lost at the location of our servers then backups are likely to be compromised too.

For these reasons an automated backup facility is included in all our software as standard, it is part of the maintenance agreement. This ensures complete piece of mind for our customers and ensures that should any mishaps occur, the data is always readily available. Our backup features include the following:

• Backup frequency as often as every minute, but usually daily
• Secure backups
• Complete database backup with immediate restore ability
• Files backup with fast restore ability
• Off site backup
• The option to have your databases emailed to you during the backup process

We run our off-site backup facility in partnership with the managed data transfer company, 2big2send.com - who use state of the art Amazon S3 cloud storage based both in Ireland and the USA. The storage even has its own data-loss redundancy in place.

We can also implement auditing in to any data capturing software that requires it. This allows an administrator or user to see exactly what changes were made, at what time and by whom. If someone accidentally deletes or changes something in the wrong way, it's easy to jump back in time to the previous version.
